In the beginning there was live rock, it was good live rock and it will probably always be good live rock but the environmental Gods of the aquarium world were restless. It seemed that Fiji was the center of this strange new rock world and perceived destruction was starting to spread throughout the promised land. A multitude of scientific Gods studied and pondered the question of this perceived destruction. However, they found no evidence to prove that the environmental Gods were justified condemning the aquarium world for sharing the fruits of this strange new rock with those that lived in the promised land. As time went on the cries grew louder and the environmental Gods demanded a sacrifice. There must be an answer, cried the people from the village, there must be a way to still their anger and justify our world.

In distant lands, far from Fiji, some tried to place heavy pieces of long forgotten sea into their waters and the Gods of that land were happy forevermore. In Fiji this would not satisfy the gods of the aquarium world because the stones were very heavy and the giant birds that carried the stones to the far away lands demanded an abundance of food to complete their journey. There must be another way cried the inhabitants of the promised land. There must be an answer to help us share the fruits of the aquarium world with our generations still to come……….
